2016 Research Walk

On 11 September Kidney Health Australia’s 2016 Research Walk was launched across Australia. This year, close to 2,500 enthusiastic supporters have participated in walks across the country, raising a total of $140,000 to date!

The kidney health community have gathered in red attire and fancy dress in Australian parks, walking trails and coastlines, across Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Launceston, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Supporters have also hosted their own, 'Host Your Own Walks' in Port Macquarie, Raymond Terrace, Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Townsville, Hobart, Coorow and Geraldton; various walk distances accommodating walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.

Kidney Health Australia’s Research Walk brings our community together, and raises awareness on the impact kidney disease is having on Australians. All proceeds from our Research Walks help support our research programs and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people affected by kidney disease.

Thank you to all our wonderful 2016 Research Walk supporters. Visit us on Facebook to see more photos from 2016 Research Walk. Can you spot yourself? Tag yourself and your friends!
