Kidney Youth Program Focus Group

Apart from the normal developmental factors influencing young people, we know there are many additional factors associated with having a chronic disease where improved support services can improve their health and wellbeing outcomes. Moving from paediatric to adult health care can also be a difficult period for young people, their families and health care workers to navigate.

To assist young people and their carers during this challenging time we are investigating ways of improving support services for these young people and their carers and we are keen to hear from you!

The Kidney Youth program is currently researching these successful, best practice approaches along with identifying any gaps in care or service that exist for young people so we can develop and implement a complementary and innovative national program. But, we need your help, experience and input!

The Western Australia Focus Group sessions are on in June!
